Zitzik, or Itzik Abargell, is the last of 10 children who are mostly musicians. They consider him the most talented of them all. His soulful and emotional music is inspired by his roots in Sderot as well as by his love for the country. As a young kid he went through the usual path and participated in music festivals and competitions. Later on he joined several musical groups but didn’t feel they achieved the real thing. Nowadays he plays with his band A Horse to Heaven and is working on recording an album. He also writes for other singers and performs on his own in bars and clubs doing covers of popular music from the 60s and 70s until today. He is married to Ella and a proud father of Eve-Shalom that will be raised on the love of music and with G-d’s help will continue the blessed family creativity.
